Vinyl Window Options

Solar Innovations, Inc. offers a line of vinyl window products. Vinyl products are suitable when the use of aluminum products are not an appropriate choice. Our vinyl products feature framing, which will not rot, rust, or require finish maintenance; standard finishes and wood laminate options are available as well.

Each unit is custom built to meet specifications, within minimum and maximum size allowances. All of the product lines below are offered with a 1″ glass unit and feature the same Stainless Steel spacer used in our aluminum products; Solar Innovations, Inc.’s standard glazing warranties apply. Many configurations and designs are available to consumers, along with several aluminum grid options.

Garden Windows

Garden windows incorporate plants into a living space but are much smaller than a true greenhouse. A larger number of plants can be propagated in a garden window compared to a window sill. Two standard vinyl finishes are available: white and tan garden windows are AAMA certified with a DP of 50 for units 60.5” x 60.5” or smaller, and feature insulated glass with a Stainless Steel spacer. The roof is designed with a 35 degree pitch to encourage natural snow removal. Each garden window can incorporate two casement windows on the left and right gable ends. Both of the windows have interior locks for security and a fixed screen. Aluminum and steel are used to re-enforce the front mullion. Several models are available: one type of garden window is suitable for stucco construction, and a second option has a sloped glass roof that is appropriate for renovations and new construction. Glass shelves are offered to provide additional growing space. Solar Innovations, Inc. vinyl garden windows ship fully assembled for ease of installation.

Bay and Bow finishes can be either white or tan, with interior laminate options of light oak, dark oak, or cherry.
