Project Description

The curved eave, double pitch skylight with two hip ends provides this museum in New York with an abundance of natural light. Due to the historic nature of the building, an aluminum framing system called “U-Bar” was developed and implemented for the skylight.

The skylight features White Duracron frame finish and LoE 272 coated satin etched 1” insulated glazing. The unit has two six-bay insulated operable ridge vents controlled by a linear actuator motor and features one decorative ball and spire finial.
